Is CryptoAML.ai legitimate? What you can check yourself
CryptoAML.ai is a wallet screening service for 17 blockchain networks: it checks an address against OFAC SDN sanctions data, public scam and ransomware lists and Tether freeze status, then tells you in the result what it did not check. Everything below can be verified from this site, from public registries, or from the service itself.
Who runs the domain, and how old is it?
The cryptoaml.ai domain was registered on 22 May 2026 and is paid through 22 May 2028, according to the public RDAP record. The service is young. So this page sticks to facts you can test, because a testimonial costs nothing to fake.
Where does the screening data come from?
Each result is built from named sources:
- The downloaded OFAC SDN cryptocurrency-address set.
- Ransomwhere, for Bitcoin ransomware addresses.
- 0xB10C curated OFAC address files, for Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRON.
- The MyEtherWallet darklist, for Ethereum scam and phishing addresses.
- Read-only Tether contract calls on Ethereum and TRON, to see whether an address is frozen.
- Merkle Science labels, where that provider is available.
The full evidence list, with the code locations behind each claim, sits on the methodology page.
What can a result not tell you?
A clean result is not a clearance. A no-match means no match in those lists, and a wallet can be dangerous without being on any of them. CryptoAML.ai does not draw a transaction graph, does not analyse counterparties, and does not replace a legal opinion or a KYC check on a person or company. On TRON it adds a limited look at recent inbound USDT TRC-20 senders, one or two hops back, against public lists only.
What does it cost, and what happens to a payment?
The anonymous web check returns one basic result within browser and IP limits. A paid web report costs $1. In Telegram a paid check defaults to 1 USDT or 75 Stars. Crypto payments go to a deposit address generated for each invoice. Under the terms, payments are not refunded unless applicable law requires it, so try the free check first.
